The Latvian Christmas Service

A service organised by the local Latvian community took place in Town Church on Saturday 9th December 2023. The service was led by Dean emeritus Andris Abakuks and was also attended by special guests, Ivita Burmistre, H.E. Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the Dean of Guernsey, the Very Reverend Tim Barker.


Refreshments after the service included a Latvian Honey Cake (pictured below).
