What a fabulous day was had by all as Guernsey marked the 81st Anniversary of the end of a 5 year occupation by German forces in WWII. Below are a few pictures from the 11 am Service of Thanksgiving. The church was packed, the flowers were stunning, the singing was heavenly, and uniforms were everywhere as The Very Reverend Tim Barker, Dean of Guernsey delivered his last Liberation Day Service before his retirement this year.
