'Flying the Nest' - The Choir of St Mary Magdalen Church, Oxford

The choir of St Mary Magdalen’s is widely regarded as one of the finest parish church choirs outside of London. Established in its current form by Peter Parshall and Judy Martin in 1997, the professional eight-strong choir sings at the High Mass on Sunday mornings, major feasts, and at occasional other services throughout the year. The repertoire is diverse, and ranges from Byrd, Victoria and Manchicourt to Rheinberger, Rubbra and Judith Weir.
We are delighted to welcome them here to Guernsey where they will be performing in concert for us, both in Town Church and in St Tugal's Chapel on Herm. In addition they will be joining us for a combined service with the Town Church Choir on Sunday 10th Sept.
They will be performing the music of William Byrd and other renaissance composers.
