About the event

A Service of remembrance and thanksgiving for the liberation of Guernsey on Wednesday 9th May 1945. In the company of; His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor, Lieutenant General Richard Cripwell CB CBE, and Mrs Cripwell, and the Bailiff of Guernsey, Sir Richard McMahon and the President of the Policy & Resources Committee, Deputy Lyndon Trott. Presided over by The Dean of Guernsey, the Very Reverend Tim Barker.
