Welcome to Town Church, an Anglican church at the heart of St. Peter Port, in the beautiful island of Guernsey. The Town Church is the Civic Church for the Island and the therefore holds many services celebrating and praying for the life of the whole Island community.

We welcome you if you are from our community, from the wider Guernsey community, or just passing by. Welcome if you’re ‘just browsing,’ just woke up, or just got out of prison. Welcome to those who are single, married, divorced, widowed, lesbian, gay, bi, trans, confused, rich, comfortable, or poor, and anyone who doesn't identify with any of those categories.

Welcome if you’re more Christian than the Archbishop of Canterbury, or haven’t been in church for ages. Welcome if you are still in recovery or still addicted. Welcome if you could just use a prayer right now.

Welcome if you’re having problems or you’re down in the dumps or if you don’t like ‘organised religion’, if you spent all your money, if you work too hard, don’t work or don’t know anything about ‘church’. Welcome seekers and doubters, saints and sinners, regulars, visitors, friends and strangers.

As you browse our site we hope you find what you are looking for, but we recognise that having a good chat is often what we need.

If you would like to speak in person, please don’t hesitate to be in touch.

Thank you for visiting

The Town Church is a member of the Inclusive Church Network
